This episode is all about high-functioning anxiety and depression. We all have that one friend that comes to mind, when we think of “the strong one”. The one who is RESILIENT and no matter how many times they get knocked down, they get back up. They are the over achievers, the positive ones. They always just seem okay… well I am here to sadly tell you that they probably aren’t. So we, as a society, discredit happy people as not having problems. As not ever struggling! Their life seems great, they seem busy, they have friends, a boyfriend, a job, they have their shit together! They wouldn’t be depressed or anxious, they have it all… This episode explores the 2 sides to this problem. That of those with high-functioning disorders, and that of society’s misconception of what a depressed or anxious person is suppose to act like.
